About the Role

This 28-bed unit is certified by The Joint Commission as a comprehensive stroke center, setting our hospital's treatment of stroke patients among the best in the nation. We are now one of only 156 healthcare organizations in the United States to have earned this certification in highly-specialized stroke care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
  • Identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyze trends and changes in patient status, planning appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
