Position Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that service schedules are efficiently managed and that customer expectations are consistently met. The representative will be responsible for utilizing our dispatch software to coordinate service appointments and maintain an up-to-date understanding of all assigned maintenance contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily activities of Service Technicians to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
- Schedule Technicians on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Engage with Customers to address their needs and collaborate with Service Managers, Technicians, and other staff to facilitate service delivery.
- Provide quotes for repair work and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Department regarding customer account statuses.
- Assist with warranty-related issues.
- A minimum of two years of post-secondary education or two years of experience in commercial HVAC dispatch preferred.
- Proficient in computer applications and technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills over the phone.
- Ability to comprehend technical terminology and mechanical processes.
- Experience with Key2Act/Great Plains software is advantageous.
- Understanding of third-party work order systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Computer literate and technology savvy.
Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
