About the Role:

As a Business Development Director at CBRE, you will be responsible for driving local and regional business growth through strategic marketing and development initiatives.

This role is part of the Sales function, where you will design and present sales solutions to potential, new, and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees, coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, and establish work schedules and assign tasks.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor and coach as needed, and establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide strategic direction for the creation of proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials, and set and measure operational and financial goals for client accounts.
  • Review financial reports, develop cases for budgets and reserve investments, and prioritize key initiatives.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers that impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and persuade managers and other colleagues to take action.
  • Identify and solve complex, operational, and organizational problems, leveraging resources within or outside the department.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Real Estate license required.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple department results within a function.
Compensation and Benefits:

The minimum salary for the Business Development Director position is $180,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $200,000 annually.

The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.

This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
