Job Summary
CLARK Material Handling Company is a leading provider of material handling and forklift solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Dealer Channel Strategy Manager to join our team.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a dealer channel strategy to drive business growth and improve dealer performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
The Dealer Channel Strategy Manager will work closely with our leadership team to identify trends and opportunities in the market, and develop plans to capitalize on these opportunities. This will include conducting market research and analysis, identifying key performance indicators, and developing strategies to improve dealer performance.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also have a strong understanding of the material handling industry, with experience in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a dealer channel strategy to drive business growth and improve dealer performance
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market
- Develop plans to capitalize on market opportunities and improve dealer performance
- Work closely with our leadership team to identify key performance indicators and develop strategies to improve dealer performance
- Develop and maintain a profile of dealer performance measurements or standards to ensure the long-term health of the CLARK distribution network
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in the material handling or industrial equipment industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Available to travel to dealers and prospective dealer candidates throughout Canada, Mexico and the US
- Experience working with a dealer network and implementing a dealer distribution strategy
- Experience in professional sales or sales leadership, with a history of implementing sales strategies to achieve sales performance goals
- Ability to communicate effectively and easily with C-Suite and other senior personnel
- Ability to conduct research, analysis and identify trends - and effectively communicate these data to CLARK leadership
- Proven history of successful implementation of sales and product distribution strategy
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
