We're seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team at Kimpton Hotels. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to order, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards.
- Stock and maintain inventory levels of food products, ensuring a smooth service period.
- Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards to ensure consistency.
- Implement proper sanitation practices to prevent food spoilage and contamination.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in daily cleaning and maintenance of kitchen areas.
- Report any maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or culinary environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
- Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
- Able to establish positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
