Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the world of finance? We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Risk and Surveillance Vice President.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading financial institution, driving regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives. As a Risk and Surveillance Vice President, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of tasks performed by the Risk Surveillance Unit, ensuring metrics are designed to measure key regulatory risks and control performance. You will also monitor the regulatory environment to identify changes applicable to Global Markets business and participate in industry-wide calls and forums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of tasks performed by the Risk Surveillance Unit
  • Design and implement metrics to measure key regulatory risks and control performance
  • Monitor the regulatory environment to identify changes applicable to Global Markets business
  • Participate in industry-wide calls and forums to stay up-to-date on regulatory developments
  • Coordinate with technology to improve efficiencies and streamline manual processes
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries from Global Markets staff and key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a finance, economics, or business-related field
  • 7+ years of banking industry experience or external consulting (financial services) with direct Swap Dealer Regulatory Reporting experience
  • Experience managing a team a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience with derivatives regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange/Interest Rate Derivatives products and Sales and Trading functions
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $131K - $170K, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
