Job Summary:

The Specialized Operations Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the General Office and operational functions of the Jewelry Department. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of the General Office, including opening the store, maintaining daily functions, and resolving customer issues.
  • Oversee Jewelry Operations, including receiving, verifying, and booking jewelry, processing re-tickets, RTV's, transfers, and price changes.
  • Ensure case counts are completed, all merchandise is entered into the case count system, and all discrepancies are reconciled.
  • Assist with merchandising cases, placing new product on the sales floor, and receiving and verifying merchandise for trunk shows.
  • Prepare and submit special order requests and Statements of Sale when requested.
  • Communicate with Corporate Merchants, Accounts Payable, Inventory Control, and vendors as needed.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google, MS Office, and adaptability to changing technology.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule as per business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
