Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions and community engagement
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Current driver's license and California automobile insurance coverage
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
