Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Global Elite Group. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our aviation security services at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Aviation Security Officer force, ensuring compliance with TSA regulations and corporate policies.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing and scheduling procedures to meet client needs.
  • Evaluate attendance and performance deficiencies, administering corrective measures as needed.
  • Administer payroll reporting and ensure cost-effective measures across the station.
  • Ensure station compliance with all reporting procedures and communicate procedural changes to staff.
  • Conduct daily briefings and staff meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Work with the Training and Compliance department to provide initial and recurrent training to station personnel.
  • Safeguard company equipment and vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality, comfortable speaking in front of groups and interacting with colleagues and employees.
  • HS Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at various social levels.
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test and pass a 10-year verifiable background check.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge with Customs seal.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • A.C.E certification or willingness to obtain one.
Language Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical/Environmental Requirements

Work is performed in mainly outdoor environments, involving exposure to noise, chemical, and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extremes of temperature and weather conditions.

Reasoning Ability
  • Must understand their role as a manager and exhibit sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to follow directions and outlined policies and procedures.
  • Recognize hazardous situations or breaches of security and act accordingly.
  • Maintain strictly professional relationships with subordinates and fellow staff members.
