Job Summary

Maintain and repair heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, and ensure all equipment is safe and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine problems, transmission issues, and electrical system malfunctions.
  • Ensure all equipment is safe and compliant with regulations, including regular inspections and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations.
  • Document all work performed, including maintenance records and repair histories.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4-6 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • ASE certification in refrigerant recycling, brakes, suspension and steering, electrical/electronic systems, and engine repair.
  • Valid Massachusetts Class B Commercial Drivers License.
  • Massachusetts Hoisting Operator's License (1C).
