We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, decontaminate, and service anesthesia carts, machines, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Assist with OR/procedural room turnover, including transporting medications and equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot and perform first-level repairs of anesthesia machines and equipment.
- Deliver defective equipment to the biomedical engineering department for repair or replacement.
- Transport and set up machines, equipment, and anesthesia carts at various locations.
- Maintain stock levels of IV solutions and other medical supplies in the work and induction rooms.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum three to five years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively with clinical and other staff.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently.
- Understanding of aseptic and infection control protocols.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy policies.
