Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leak test and manually clean all endoscopic equipment according to established guidelines and infection control protocols.
  • High-level disinfect all endoscopic equipment and accessories, ensuring compliance with Endoscopy Center guidelines and infection control standards.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of high-level disinfectants and maintain accurate records.
  • Ship scopes out for repair as needed, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Perform daily maintenance on endoscope wash machines, including water gauge pressure checks and filter changes.
  • Ensure a clean and disinfected work area, adhering to established standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Endoscope Reprocessing Technician Certification and/or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Certification preferred.
  • Previous experience as an endoscope reprocessing technician or central supply technician required.
