Parker Leadership Development Program Overview

Program Details
  • Duration: 1-2 years
  • Program Structure: 2-4 rotations, up to 6 months per rotation
  • Relocation Requirements: Rotations will likely require relocation. Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel to Parker's corporate headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio for program review, personal development, and interaction with fellow program participants and mentors.

Responsibilities

As an entry-level engineer, you will collaborate with seasoned engineers to manage and execute independent projects. Additionally, you will provide support to other managers and engineers as needed.

Program Tracks
  • Design Track: The program will accelerate learning and appreciation of new product development through cross-functional and cross-group exposure and will ensure new college grads develop skills for career progression through Parker Hannifin.
  • Manufacturing / Automation Track: The program will accelerate learning and appreciation of manufacturing processes through cross-functional and cross-group exposure and will ensure new college grads develop skills for career progression through Parker Hannifin.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science (BS) in Engineering with focus in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Computer Science, Electromechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Agricultural, motor design, robotics, and/or system integration
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; project management experience preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a group
  • Robotic experience is a plus
  • Must be able to work without sponsorship
  • Must be willing and able to relocate
