Technical Sales Associate Leadership Development Program

Program Overview:
Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking highly motivated and technically inclined individuals to participate in a 1-year leadership development program. This program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a field sales role.
Program Structure:
The program will consist of multiple rotations at different Parker locations, with each rotation lasting between 1 to 5 months. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about new product applications, develop professional selling skills, and build relationships with distributors, customers, and Parker divisions.
Responsibilities:
Attend product training schools to learn technical aspects of products and applications. Develop professional selling skills to find ways to add value to customers, distributors, and Parker. Attend formal training programs to enhance professional development, sales experience, and leadership skills. Build relationships and collaborate with a network of distributors, customers, and Parker divisions. Utilize CRM for tracking opportunities, interpreting sales data, and making good business decisions.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sales, or industrial distribution is preferred. Participants must be willing to relocate domestically to an assigned field/territory after the program. Overnight travel greater than 50-75% is required for the first 12 months. Technical competence and mechanical aptitude are preferred. Work experience in sales or marketing and an industrial/manufacturing environment is a plus. ITAR eligibility is required.
