Position Overview:
The role of the Postdoctoral Research Scientist is dedicated to advancing the understanding of neurodegenerative disorders. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive research aimed at uncovering the fundamental mechanisms associated with diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- In Vivo Research: Conduct experiments utilizing murine models to investigate disease progression.
- Biochemical Investigations: Analyze molecular pathways and identify potential biomarkers.
- Cell Culture and Imaging Techniques: Employ advanced imaging methods to examine neuronal dysfunction.
- Experimental Methodologies: Perform cell culture, metabolic and functional assessments, imaging, and various biochemical assays including western blots and immunocytochemistry. In vivo work will include treatment administration, biofluid collection, and behavioral assessments.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science degree is required.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $62,000.00
