Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project engineers and associated support personnel
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for all administrative tasks related to assigned projects
  • Engage with clients regarding payment timelines and collection processes
  • Develop project budgets and delineate labor task codes for internal monitoring
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on significant administrative matters
  • Draft and negotiate change orders as necessary
  • Compile and assess monthly job forecasts
  • Create Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage response documentation
  • Prepare and monitor product submittals
  • Guide the procurement of major buyout items and subcontractor services
  • Participate in jobsite meetings as needed and conduct weekly site visits with foremen
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain project timelines while addressing conflicts and issues
  • Support foremen with methodologies and material selection

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience managing the administrative aspects of electrical projects, particularly those valued at $3 million or more
  • Robust technical knowledge of materials and techniques utilized in electrical project installations
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Willingness to travel long distances as necessary
  • Field experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications
