Position Title: Office Administration Adjunct Instructor (ONLINE)

Position Type: Part-Time

Department: School of Business and Industry

Overview: This role involves the development and instruction of courses related to bookkeeping, office management, and medical office assisting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stay current with advancements in the field of instruction;
  2. Exhibit flexibility and readiness to teach a variety of courses, times, locations, and delivery methods as required;
  3. Implement appropriately challenging coursework to foster student growth and achievement;
  4. Provide students with clear written guidelines, including syllabi, policies, assignment instructions, and grading criteria;
  5. Administer assessments that align with course content, including a comprehensive final exam to evaluate overall understanding of course objectives;
  6. Utilize diverse instructional methods to affirm the value and dignity of all learners and uphold their right to education;
  7. Maintain a conducive learning environment that promotes open dialogue while ensuring academic integrity;
  8. Prepare thoroughly for classes and arrive punctually for all scheduled instructional activities;
  9. Deliver content in a clear and engaging manner;
  10. Address student inquiries and feedback promptly through various communication channels;
  11. Manage routine departmental operations as assigned by the department chair.

Minimum Qualifications:

An associate degree in bookkeeping, medical office assisting, office administration, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of three years of relevant technical training, industry certifications, or experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or higher in business, bookkeeping, office administration, medical office assisting, or a related area.
