Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Prepare patient charts, register new patients, update records, and confirm insurance details.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations to optimize clinic efficiency.
  • Respond to phone inquiries and assist patients, directing calls as necessary.
  • Process patient payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Keep the front desk area organized and professional.
  • Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Handle confidential patient information with discretion.
  • Support administrative tasks, including report generation for marketing and patient outreach.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Duties:

  • Participate in cross-training to gain skills in various clinic operations.
  • Provide support to other clinics as needed, showcasing flexibility and teamwork.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a supportive clinic environment.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a front office role in a medical practice or hospital.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health insurance processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Full range of motion, including reaching and bending.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderately heavy items, such as documents or supplies.
  • Good manual dexterity.
