Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Clinician specializing in Older Adult Services. The primary role of the Clinician II is to deliver clinical support to clients, focusing on adults, older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities.

The Clinician will employ various therapeutic approaches and must be adaptable to providing services in multiple community settings, including telehealth platforms.

This role is centered on enhancing access to services for older adults within the community.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho-social and intake assessments
  • Provide clinical counseling to older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions
  • Develop and implement psycho-educational programs
  • Assist with crisis intervention and emergency support (no on-call duty required)
  • Complete documentation and administrative tasks within 36 hours of service
  • Achieve a minimum of 24 client encounters or visits per week
  • Complete credentialing within the first month of employment
  • Work hours determined by client needs
  • Travel for home visits as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with relevant experience
  • Willingness to engage with managed care referrals
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate within a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and capable of learning electronic medical record systems
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to independently manage a caseload
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Regularly sitting for extended periods
  • Frequently using hands for tasks such as handling objects and communication
  • Occasionally standing, walking, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Access to personal transportation is required

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically quiet, allowing for focused engagement with clients.


Education and Experience:

Candidates must possess a fully licensed LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting, particularly with older adults in community environments. A willingness to learn about Judaism and Jewish family dynamics is essential.
