Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Clinician for Older Adult Services. This role involves providing clinical support to clients, including older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. The clinician will employ various therapeutic techniques and be prepared to deliver services in multiple community settings, including remote options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-social assessments
  • Provide clinical counseling to older adults and their caregivers
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Design and implement psycho-educational programs
  • Assist in crisis intervention and emergency support (no on-call duties required)
  • Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks within designated timeframes
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 24 client interactions per week
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements within the initial month
  • Adapt work hours based on client needs
  • Travel for home visits as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with at least two years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to work with managed care referrals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with electronic medical record systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing an independent caseload

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions, including sitting for extended periods, using hands for tasks, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds. Candidates must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically quiet, conducive to focused client interactions.
