Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Clinician for Older Adult Services. This role involves delivering clinical support to clients, focusing on adults, older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. The clinician will employ various therapeutic approaches and provide services in diverse community settings, including telehealth options. The primary goal of this position is to enhance service accessibility for older adults within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-social and intake assessments
  • Provide clinical counseling to older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
  • Design and implement psycho-educational programs
  • Assist in crisis intervention and emergency support (no on-call duties required)
  • Complete documentation and administrative tasks within established timelines
  • Maintain a minimum of 24 client encounters or visits per week
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements within the initial month
  • Adjust work hours based on client needs
  • Travel for home visits as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with relevant experience
  • Willingness to engage with managed care referrals
  • Ability to mentor and collaborate within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and willingness to learn electronic medical record systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and capable of independently managing a caseload

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include regular sitting, frequent use of hands for tasks, and occasional standing or walking. The employee may need to lift or move items weighing up to 10 pounds. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.

Work Environment:
The work environment is typically quiet, allowing for focused interaction with clients.

Education and Experience:
A fully licensed LCSW, LPC, or LMFT with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar setting, particularly with older adults in community contexts, is required. A willingness to learn about Jewish culture and family dynamics is also essential.
