Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

HealthStar LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain complete medical histories and physical data from patients, integrating this information to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and record findings, collaborating with physicians to manage acute and long-term medical needs.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests, synthesizing data to determine preliminary diagnoses and therapeutic plans.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, suturing minor wounds and advising patients on health and illness prevention.
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatment instructions, and health maintenance, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Triage patient phone calls, responding to medical and surgical emergencies, and participating in professional development activities to stay current with best practices.
Requirements:
  • Current state Registered Nurse licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner (general or specialized) from an approved program.
  • BSN degree required; MSN preferred.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and medical care to provide and evaluate patient care.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards, communicate clearly, and react calmly in emergency situations.
Working Conditions:

This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of items weighing up to 10 pounds, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range. You will work under stress in emergency situations and may be required to work irregular hours.
