Role Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Back Office Application Administrator II - OnBase to contribute to our team.

In this capacity, you will oversee monitoring, system enhancements, and troubleshooting within third-party applications supported by our team. The Administrator will also facilitate existing workflows for various Business Units based on their specific requirements. This role necessitates access to sensitive information, and maintaining confidentiality regarding classified customer and employee data is essential.

Key Duties Include:

  • Proficient administration of OnBase is mandatory.
  • Address and resolve issues related to Document Management solutions.
  • Expertise in SQL query construction and optimization in SQL Server is required.
  • Some familiarity with VB.Net or C# is necessary, with the ability to comprehend and refactor code.
  • Diagnose and rectify system/database performance challenges.
  • Execute application upgrades and implement necessary software updates/patches.
  • Occasionally develop PowerShell scripts for task automation.
  • Integrate with relevant external tools.
  • Conduct daily system/application administration, including new implementations and system configuration/security.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for the administration and support of applications in a production setting.
  • Provide frontline application administration, support, and guidance, which may encompass service packs, upgrades, and infrastructure modifications.
  • Test applications, upgrades, and patches prior to their deployment in the production environment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot complex issues, identify, and implement solutions for recurring problems.
  • Generate reports and dashboards.
  • Resolve user inquiries by addressing Helpdesk tickets.
  • Share on-call responsibilities for supported applications.
  • Effectively communicate technical and business challenges clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Administer and support additional third-party applications as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a system administrator for enterprise applications, with a preference for OnBase administration, OnBase API, and/or OnBase Workflow Administration.
  • 2-5 years of experience with SQL Server, including system and query optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OnBase is essential.
  • Solid understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS) is required.
  • Certification in OnBase API, Workflow, and System Administration is preferred:
    • OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA).
    • OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA).
    • OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface (OCAPI).
  • Ability to write and analyze SQL queries.
  • Capability to document user requirements and develop process workflows.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems capabilities and limitations, with the ability to assess requirements for feasibility in terms of effort, time, and costs.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to proactively address business challenges.
  • Ability to accurately estimate the level of effort required for development tasks.
  • Technically adept with proven troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business contexts.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, task planning, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proficient in gathering requirements from a wide range of project stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience in IT solution architecture.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes is desirable.
