At BGIS Global Integrated Solutions US LLC, we are seeking a skilled Benefits Administrator to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a leading provider of integrated real estate management services, we offer a comprehensive range of solutions to our clients, including facilities management, project management, energy & sustainability services, strategic workplace consulting, real estate services, and capital planning.

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for supporting the administration of team member health and welfare benefits, as well as communicating benefits and policy information to team members and healthcare providers. This role will work closely with the HR team to support benefit initiatives and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and two (2) years of experience in Human Resources and/or benefits administration. They will be knowledgeable of benefit regulations both federally and by state, and have the ability to work quickly and accurately with complex data. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, as well as a collaborative approach to working with other HR specialty areas.

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assisting in administering team member benefits programs, including retirement plans, medical plans, term life insurance plans, temporary disability programs, and accidental death policies.
  • Acting as a liaison between team members, Third-Party Administrators, and healthcare providers to communicate benefit and policy information.
  • Assisting with billing or coverage issues as needed.
  • Providing assistance to team members regarding benefit claim issues, plan changes, or general questions.
  • Ensuring team member census data is accurate and timely, including data entry as needed.
  • Assisting with annual open enrollment.
  • Managing the leave management program in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Preparing and processing vendor invoices for various benefit vendors.
  • Responding to requests for information, both internally and externally.
