Our School-Based Services initiative aims to foster student success within educational environments. As a School-Based Treatment Specialist, you will engage with students, their families, educators, and school staff to achieve therapeutic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical program operations in accordance with relevant state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate skill development activities.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, directors, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to devise and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each child.
  • Track, assess, and document the progress of individuals in relation to their treatment goals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team discussions regarding the individuals served.

Qualifications:

Compensation for AWARE's LCPC/LCSWs ranges from $56,500 to $65,500 annually.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possession of an advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of direct clinical experience.
  • Must hold or be eligible for licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any equivalent license recognized in the State of Montana.
  • A comprehensive understanding of youth with emotional challenges and learning differences.
  • Ability to evaluate youth and their families from a strengths-based perspective.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse individuals.
  • Potential for NHSC slots, continuing education credits, clinical supervision, and additional licensure support.
