About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Support Specialist to join our team at AppFolio. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will provide comprehensive support and coordination of daily tasks and strategic initiatives.

Your Impact

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the SVP of Engineering, including scheduling, meeting planning, and budgeting.
  • Manage quarterly event planning and ensure projects and events are executed efficiently within budget and scope.
  • Encourage the Engineering org to meet and exceed their team/org goals, contributing to the growth of AppFolio.
  • Enhance team culture through event planning and meetings to drive connection.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience supporting senior-level executives, preferably in a high-tech environment.
  • Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities.
  • Experience managing highly confidential information and sensitive data with discretion.
  • Flexibility, organizational, and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks/projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, leaders, and teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer orientation to both internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Co-located in the Santa Barbara office, in office at least 3 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role is $94,400-$118,000, and regular full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
