Job Summary:
As an HR Operations Specialist for Kaiser Permanente, this role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to physicians and executives, answering and resolving questions related to payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave status.
This position also involves conducting audits of personnel and compensation-related data elements, developing reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
Additionally, the role requires reviewing, processing, and calculating various salary actions, maintaining accuracy of systems data, and assisting in the resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports legal, regulatory, and compliance adherence by providing information on new or updated policies, guidelines, and procedures, and performing project-related work in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Contributes to policy development by recommending updates based on analysis and interpreting guidelines to write internal policies.
  • Monitors and improves existing processes by performing routine and complex processes, maintaining and optimizing processes, and recommending research plans to identify new business operating models.
  • Contributes to project execution and management efforts by owning relationships with stakeholders, tracking and reporting project-related information, and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Supports strategic business planning and development by gathering and analyzing data, documenting project inputs and requirements, and collaborating across teams to align on project deliverables and timelines.
  • Supports training efforts by developing training requirements, delivering training programs, and developing project-based training curriculum.
  • Pursues effective relationships with others by providing resources, information, and expertise, and listening to and addressing performance feedback.
  • Adapts to and learns from change, challenges, and feedback, and demonstrates flexibility in approaches to work.
  • Supports and responds to the needs of others to support business outcomes.
  • Completes work assignments autonomously by applying expertise to generate creative solutions, ensuring procedures and policies are followed, and leveraging data and resources to support projects or initiatives.
