Job Description

Job Title: Instructional Design Lead - Commercial

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Design Lead to join our Global Sales Enablement team at Meta. As an Instructional Design Lead, you will be responsible for creating and managing training programs that empower our global commercial sales teams to achieve their targets and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Lead the design and development of innovative and effective learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, video creation, and next-generation learning platforms for a global sales audience.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure training materials are aligned with sales strategies and objectives.
  • Needs Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct ongoing needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the global sales teams and evaluate the effectiveness of training materials.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects across several products simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather content, validate learning objectives, and ensure training programs are relevant and impactful.
  • Emerging Trends: Stay current with emerging instructional design trends and incorporate them into strategies to enhance the training experience.
  • Communication and Delivery: Work with cross-functional teams to craft informative and timely communications while continuously iterating on delivery methods to drive engagement and action.
  • Quality Assurance: Review training materials and needs from cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, alignment, and simplicity before they are delivered.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in instructional design.
  • Skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and other relevant technologies. Experience in project management, with the skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Proven communication and collaboration skills, with the experience to work effectively with teams across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in consumer electronic sales.
  • Category Knowledge: Category knowledge in AR and MR fields.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical skills, with experience interpreting complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Commercial Experience: Experience in instructional design in a commercial or sales enablement context.
