Job Overview

This position provides administrative support to the Office of Inclusive Excellence at the University of Vermont. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and develop processes that enhance departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, including coordination of logistics, travel arrangements, and event planning.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve departmental operations and efficiency.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, responding to email, telephone, and in-person inquiries with sensitivity and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree with one to three years of related experience required.
  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one, and reliable vehicle for travel to conference locations (or alternative transportation arrangement).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions, including Office 365, Zoom, and adaptability to evolving technology.
Estimated Salary Range

$22.00-$23.50 per hour based on education and experience.
