Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Chrysler LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and delivering new vehicles to customers, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell and deliver new vehicles to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies
  • Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems to maximize sales performance
  • Attend product and sales training courses to stay up-to-date on new products and features
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Satisfy the transportation needs of new-vehicle purchasers
  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance to customers entering the dealership showroom or sales lot
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects
  • Offer test drives to all prospects, following dealership procedure to obtain proper identification
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Know and understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales
  • Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards of productivity
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, features, and accessories, and their benefits to customers
  • Know and understand equity and values, and explain depreciation to customers
  • Ensure the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, we-owes, and special requests to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively
  • Attend sales meetings and maintain a professional appearance
