Job Overview

As the Operations Manager for Hospitality Services, you will oversee and coordinate all facets of daily operations within the business, including the Boatyard, Marina, Hotel, and Tenancy. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance revenue generation for both the hotel and marina.

Engage in ongoing consultation with the Managing Director and be available to address any issues that may arise across all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated team of maintenance and administrative staff.

Collaborate with the Group Human Resource Manager for support on recruitment and disciplinary matters.

Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to service standards.


Work closely with the Boatyard Supervisor to manage daily operations, including maintenance and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with security personnel to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Financial Oversight


Supervise front desk operations in accordance with standard operating procedures to guarantee accurate billing for all customers.

Collaborate with the Managing Director on financial decisions impacting the business.

Conduct daily sales reconciliations and prepare deposits.


Manage collections and accounts receivable across all business areas, including tenancy, boatyard, marina, and hotel.

Coordinate with payroll for timely processing of employee compensation.

Engage with the head office accountant and CFO as necessary regarding accounting matters.

Marketing and Customer Engagement

Partner with the Managing Director to propose and execute marketing initiatives across the business.


Oversee social media platforms and the company website, guiding the graphic designer to enhance our online presence.

Manage relationships with online travel agencies.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.

Procurement Management

Identify cost-effective solutions for managing operational expenses.

Oversee inventory levels to ensure timely procurement and minimize waste.

Implement cost control measures while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

Authorize all purchase orders and ensure proper payment processing.

Equipment Maintenance

Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure that all equipment is serviced according to manufacturer standards.

Ensure that all company vehicles and machinery are maintained properly.

Safety and Compliance

Ensure that the facility meets all necessary safety and regulatory standards.

Promote a safe working environment for employees and customers, adhering to best practices.

Establish and enforce operational guidelines and regulations.
