Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Underwriter/Broker to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing risk for our clients, working closely with our underwriting team to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess risk for clients, using industry knowledge and expertise to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with underwriting team to develop and implement risk management plans, ensuring that clients have the right coverage in place to protect their assets and reputation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their risk management needs and develop tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that our risk management strategies are always aligned with best practices.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities, working closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new business leads.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, such as underwriting, risk management, or insurance sales.
- Strong industry knowledge and expertise, with a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
