ROLE OVERVIEW

The Strategic Initiatives Associate Manager will play a pivotal role in steering projects from conception to completion, fostering collaboration across various departments. This position will be responsible for leading routine supply chain meetings to enhance teamwork and strategic alliances within SC Johnson. Additionally, the Associate Manager will develop and maintain analytical tools and dashboards to support decision-making processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and sustain Supply Chain dashboards utilizing diverse data sources.
  • Act as a representative of SC Johnson's capabilities in regular meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure accountability for supply chain actions and escalations during routine meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align category strategies with operational capabilities.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A university degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations or a minimum of 3 years with an advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP/BW, Access, and Advanced Excel; familiarity with Kinaxis RR is preferred.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Experience in an industry-leading Ecommerce or Omni-Channel organization implementing supply chain solutions.
  • Knowledge in various supply chain disciplines such as Transportation, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Supply/Demand Planning, Manufacturing, or Procurement.
  • Strong change management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated individual who can achieve results with minimal guidance.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Advanced project management expertise.
  • Ability to cultivate business partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a robust work ethic.
  • Willingness to tackle challenges with resilience.
  • Additional software proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project and Visio.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Some travel may be required, less than 20%.
  • Remote work options available for eligible employees.
  • This position does not offer relocation assistance.
