Job Summary

The Croghan Colonial Bank is seeking a skilled Card Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and assisting with the operational functions associated with Credit and Debit/ATM cards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new credit and debit card accounts, including verification of customer documentation
  • Closely monitor fraudulent activity and recommend services and procedures to reduce risk in the card portfolio
  • Ensure accurate booking of new credit and debit cards, maintain card records, complete reconcilement and reports as required
  • Manage card phone and email support channels for customer and banking center inquiries
  • Process fund balance transfers, credit card payoffs, close-outs and charge offs
  • Aid cardholders with cases created in the Enfact fraud detection monitoring tool
  • Complete card and deposit account file maintenance, including address changes and travel alerts
  • Process daily card payments by posting to credit card system
  • Ensure all card documentation is properly retained
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years of banking experience, preferably in card functions
  • Microsoft Office, Access software and various other software applications
  • Basic knowledge of deposit procedures, products and operations
  • Knowledge of Card rules and regulations
  • Good telephone, oral and written communication skills
