Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Stock Yards Bank & Trust. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily branch operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retain and expand current customer relationships through proactive engagement and personalized service
  • Open new accounts, perform account maintenance, process and close loans, and provide consultative selling to existing clients and prospects
  • Supervise staff on a limited basis to support the Office Manager, including conducting weekly team meetings and coaching employees
  • Lead by example and coach to a 212o commitment to service, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
  • Responsible for customer relations, including complaints and inquiries, and office operational processes
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank operational policies and procedures, making recommendations to improve efficiency
  • Represent the bank at community functions and events
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; BS/BA in business-related field preferred
  • 2+ years of banking experience, with knowledge of banking operations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team

Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting the majority of the time, with some walking and standing. All work occurs indoors and within regular working hours. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
