Job Summary

Security Equipment Supply Inc is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in all aspects of branch operations, including sales and logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Maintain and improve customer service standards, addressing any variances and working with individual staff members or reporting to the Branch Manager or administrative manager as needed.
  2. Operational Knowledge: Possess a working knowledge of all branch operational and sales responsibilities, including counter and tele sales, shipping, receiving, repairs, and inventory control.
  3. Vendor Relations and Training: Work with the Branch Manager to develop better vendor relations, set up customer and employee trainings, and plan counter days in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
  4. Inventory Management: Assist in reducing slow and dead stock to maintain inventory health.
  5. Sales and Performance: Assist the Branch Manager in achieving branch sales goals, plan sessions to attain goals, and mentor existing sales team members.
  6. Employee Development: Assist the Branch Manager in recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, and development of branch personnel.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Perform all branch administrative tasks, including maintaining regular, open communications with the Branch Manager and Corporate Office.
  8. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed at all times, report any violations to the Branch Manager and/or administrative manager, and maintain a safe, secure, and clean working environment.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in sales and operations. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
Work Environment

This role operates in a branch/warehouse environment, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers and staff. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 5-7 years of relevant sales experience and 1-3 years of management experience preferred.
