Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative I to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Manage and maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
