Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Relationship Associate to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Financial Consultants to provide exceptional client service, build and maintain strong relationships, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Financial Consultants in client servicing and meeting preparation, ensuring seamless execution of solutions.
  • Assist in preparing pre-appointment and post-appointment financial planning, leveraging industry trends and competitive data to inform client discussions.
  • Monitor client happiness and develop strategies to maintain or improve satisfaction levels.
  • Initiate needs-based discussions with clients, providing dedicated financial planning consultations and uncovering opportunities to gather additional assets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals and objectives, ensuring tailored solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay informed of critical operational issues impacting clients and drive successful execution of solutions.
  • Seek referral opportunities and place client orders accurately and timely.
  • Utilize internal resources and systems to collect client data, advancing future sales opportunities.
  • Perform research to identify, analyze, and solve problems, investigating and remediating reported account issues.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of industry knowledge and financial sales and service experience, with Financial Planning experience preferred.
  • Dedicated, inventive, and client-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain relationships with high net worth clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills (phone and face-to-face).
  • Adaptable to evolving client needs, systems, and internal business models.
  • Ability to compare, contrast, and communicate American Century product offerings with competitor products.
  • Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • Series 7 license required, with Series 65 license preferred or successful completion within 90 days.
  • Advanced certifications, e.g., CFP, preferred.

Additional Requirements

Employees are required to be in the office on a scheduled frequency, adhering to this schedule to fulfill the expectations of the role.
