Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tax Compliance and Advisory Services: Offer expert tax guidance to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations.
  • Develop and Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through the proposal process and networking activities.
  • Participate in Client Development and Team Management: Contribute to business growth and team management, including research and staying current as a subject matter expert.
  • Maintain Functional Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of taxation compliance and consulting related to personal, partnership, trust, estate, gift, and wealth retention strategies.
  • Assist with Team Management and Coaching: Support the development and coaching of professional tax staff, reviewing and managing projects prepared by tax associates and seniors.
  • Effectively Delegate Responsibilities: Delegate tasks to team members, monitor their efforts, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay Current with Technology: Utilize technology tools to improve work processes and efficiently complete regular assignments.
  • Research and Communicate Complex Tax Issues: Conduct thorough research, apply findings to projects, and clearly communicate results in writing.
Requirements
  • 3-5 Years of Related Experience: Possess significant experience in public accounting, law firms, or trust departments.
  • Professional Certifications: Hold a CPA license or J.D. degree and bar admission.
  • Education: Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience Managing Multiple Client Engagements: Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively.
