Customer Service Representative

At Southern States Cooperative, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers, while also assisting with various business office functions.

  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide timely information regarding daily operations, policies, and current initiatives.
  • Answer primary business phone and email account, providing information on order status, product availability, and services.
  • Contact customers via telephone to assist with issues and questions about products and services.
  • Open, sort, and distribute US mail and parcel deliveries.
  • Receive and process delivery tickets and work orders for various products and related services.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • 6 months of experience in a retail setting providing excellent customer service and operating point of sale equipment preferred.
  • Able to consistently demonstrate customer-focused interpersonal skills, communicate in a positive and professional manner.
  • Able to learn and consistently demonstrate knowledge of facility guidelines and standard operating procedures for handling cash and utilizing point of sale equipment.
