Job Title: Senior Professional Civil Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Professional Civil Site Engineer to join our team at TKDA. As a member of our team, you will work alongside other Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design and management of multi-discipline projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience designing and managing site development projects, including site layouts, site grading, roadway design, utility design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, stormwater management, and site permitting. They will also have a strong working knowledge of the project development process, including coordination with other disciplines during design and construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage site development projects, including site layouts, site grading, roadway design, utility design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, stormwater management, and site permitting.
  • Work alongside other Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural professionals to provide civil design and management of multi-discipline projects.
  • Collaborate with the Civil Group Manager, Market Managers, and the Vice President of Facilities Engineering to further advance our services and enhance our reputation.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to secure new project opportunities.
  • Lead project teams of engineering and design professionals and be responsible for all technical, quality, and financial aspects of a project from conception through construction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or Illinois.
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive technical design experience with site development projects.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive and successful experience managing projects.
  • Minimum of two years of business development experience demonstrated by a track record of securing new project opportunities.
