Job Title: Senior Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our growing civil engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects, including civil site development, grading design, stormwater management, and sanitary and storm sewer evaluation.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project planning and design, including data gathering, field investigations, and developing design/feasibility studies.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on project deliverables and design calculations.
  • Provide mentoring opportunities for staff members, including cross-training and succession planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in the engineering field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong technical design skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Illinois.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide technical review of work completed by others.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in other states.
  • Additional certifications relevant to your area of expertise.
  • Proficiency with software used in civil engineering design, including Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS.
