Job Summary

Northern Impact is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our growing civil engineering group. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects, including civil site development, grading design, stormwater management, and sanitary sewer evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning and design, including data gathering, field investigations, and developing design studies and plans.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on project deliverables and design calculations.
  • Provide mentoring and training opportunities for junior staff members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in civil engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Illinois.
  • Strong technical design skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in other states.
  • Additional certifications relevant to civil engineering.
  • Proficiency in software used in civil engineering design, including Civil 3D, MicroStation, and GIS.
