Position Overview

We are looking for a driven, personable, and team-oriented Sales Associate to play a vital role in our retail strategy at one of our pioneering locations. As a Sales Associate, you will be instrumental in leading the sales floor and ensuring outstanding customer interactions. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain operational excellence and support the growth of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the sales team and assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including store upkeep and adherence to policies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by showcasing a comprehensive understanding of Tempo's offerings and technology.
  • Implement our retail sales strategy through engaging customer interactions and personalized follow-ups.
  • Enhance sales through exceptional customer service, identifying individual fitness goals and demonstrating how Tempo can help achieve them.
  • Exhibit best practices during product demonstrations for both scheduled and walk-in customers, while mentoring team members for their development.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Analyze business trends alongside the Store Manager and continuously seek innovative solutions to meet objectives.
  • Utilize key performance indicators to uncover opportunities within the sales process and apply best practices to boost sales and brand visibility.
  • Maintain customer records and preferences using CRM software to optimize lead conversion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in technology, fitness, or premium retail environments.
  • Experience in retail leadership is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences that foster brand loyalty and drive sales results.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to exceed sales targets and inspire colleagues.
  • Personable and empathetic with excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and retail strategies.
  • Resilient in handling challenging situations and transforming them into positive outcomes.
  • Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for fitness and our innovative technology.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, Slack, G Suite, and Apple products is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock as needed.
