Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with Cancer Care Leadership at the clinical site
- Guarantee the safe administration of radiation therapy while adhering to established safety protocols
- Provide comprehensive training to staff to reduce radiation exposure
- Engage in performance enhancement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance
- Execute treatment planning and dosimetry calculations
- Contribute to clinical education and training programs
Required Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or a related discipline
- ABR Certification in Radiation Oncology Physics is preferred
- Experience with HDR and SRS programs is advantageous
- Skills in computer system administration are beneficial
- Eligibility for board certification is mandatory
- State licensing as a medical physicist is required
