Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced commercially-minded Business Development professional to join our supply team to ensure Genius has access to the latest and greatest of sports content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Strategy
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply-side strategy focused on acquiring and cultivating relationships with premium sports content publishers.
  • Identify new opportunities and partnerships to expand the platform's supply inventory and enhance overall content offerings.
  • Publisher Relationship Management
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sports content publishers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements to ensure a robust and diverse supply ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with publishers to optimize and enhance the platform's supply inventory, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and brand-safe content.
  • Revenue Growth
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and collaborations with publishers, maximizing the monetization potential of sports content on the DSP platform.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify revenue growth opportunities and stay ahead in the sports content landscape.
  • Market Expansion
  • Identify and enter new markets by strategically partnering with sports content publishers globally, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive supply network.
  • Develop market entry strategies and establish a strong presence in key regions to expand the platform's reach and influence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technology, to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Provide insights and feedback from the supply side to enhance the platform's features and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, with a focus on supply-side partnerships within the digital advertising or sports content industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing high-value partnerships with premium publishers.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sports content landscape, understanding market trends, and anticipating industry shifts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market dynamics, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level.

What We Offer

The salary for this role is based on an annualized salary of up to $150,000 to $170,000 per annum plus commission. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.
