We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to support our esteemed healthcare network. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations at our clinic.
The Receptionist will handle various administrative and office tasks, which include but are not limited to managing appointment schedules, answering incoming calls, and maintaining patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally answer and direct phone calls, taking messages for healthcare providers and staff as necessary.
- Coordinate patient appointments and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Gather essential information from patients, ensuring all registration documents are filled out correctly and collecting payments from patients and their insurance providers.
- Process patient information requests and forward relevant documents after obtaining necessary consent.
- Welcome patients and visitors, providing assistance and guidance while upholding patient confidentiality.
- Complete assigned organizational tasks, including promoting patient rights, responding to emergency situations, and communicating any concerns regarding patients or staff to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in database management and related applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and organize work efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of personal computers is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is desirable.
- Experience with computerized scheduling systems is a plus.
