Position Overview:
The Vermont Employer is in search of a dedicated and proactive individual to assume the role of Enterprise Application Support Analyst. This position is pivotal in delivering first-level assistance for systems that underpin the department's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Evaluating and prioritizing incoming requests to determine suitable actions and resolutions.
  • Administering and managing Active Directory (AD) services, which encompasses user and group account management, policy enforcement, and directory upkeep.
  • Troubleshooting network-related issues in collaboration with vendors, addressing connectivity challenges, bandwidth concerns, and hardware failures.
  • Coordinating with Internet Service Provider (ISP) vendors to ensure consistent and reliable internet access.
  • Generating reports concerning user access and utilization metrics.

This role demands exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, along with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in the Microsoft 365 Suite, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Frequent travel to various facilities is a requirement of this position.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with Active Directory, Ivanti ticketing systems, SQL data queries, Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, and methodologies for continuous improvement is highly regarded.

Work Environment:
The duties are primarily performed in a standard office setting, and candidates should have access to private transportation for necessary travel. The role involves extensive interaction with departmental personnel, including officials advocating for their programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of technical experience in a business environment utilizing an enterprise application system, or an Associate’s degree in business or computer science with four (4) years of relevant experience, or six (6) years of technical experience in a similar environment.
