Key Responsibilities- Assist with financial tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and employee payroll
- Provide financial support to the Business Office team
- Develop and maintain financial records and reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Or completion of a vocational/technical training program in business, office administration, or a related area and one year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
- Or an associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Or two years of full-time college coursework in accounting, business administration, or a related field
- Or one year of experience as a Financial Specialist I with the State of Vermont
Experience working with financial software and systems, such as the VISION system, is preferred.
