Volt is seeking a skilled Mechanical Planner III to join our team in Richland, WA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Planner III to plan and prepare work instructions for mechanical and contract maintenance organizations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nuclear power plant work management and planning processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and technical rigor.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
  • Interface with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues.
  • Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
  • Verify work instructions comply with applicable station procedures and codes.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma/GED or higher degree and ten years of experience in a technical area.
  • Working knowledge of Nuclear power plant work management and planning processes.
  • Safety regulations associated with a power plant environment.
  • ALARA requirements.
What We Offer

Competitive pay range: $75 to $82 per hour, plus on-top per diem for qualified candidates.
